Hi Wayne, are the games 11 a-side or 7? is it on natural or artificial pitch? i can’t play on 24th cos of work but love to join in Feb =) want to make sure i got the right shoes =)

hey terrka, the pitch in Tung Chung is 7 a-side artificial grass. So shoes with low studs or Turf boots would be the best, but it is up to your personal preferences. Some of the players wear indoor shoes, some wear Soft ground boots etc.

hey chongkie, welcome. don’t worry about fitness, i’m a frequent smoker. Our group is a mix of everything and there is some healthy competitiveness. We play on the artificial grass pitch in Man Tung Park. Just come on your running shoes to “test” the field and decide later what shoes you should buy. some play on soft ground, firm ground, hard ground, turf, indoor boots. so can’t really say what is the best.
